Fotofast is a fully computerised
colourlab which revolutionized colour
photography industry in Idukki district. In 1991
it was a dream of photographers in Idukki district to
work in a computerised photographic
enviorment when Fotofast first started
its operation. At first fotofast introduced
Italian Technology. Now it is geting support from
photographers and laymen.After three years of
its inception in 1994 Konica machine was installed in Fotofast. This
helped Fotofast to get the recognition as the first lab to
install to Konica 808 SQA -2 machine
in Kerala. In 1996, a second machine was also installed here.
Fotofast could now give any size photos within 20 minutes.
Fotofast Thodupuzha proved that there unlimited
scope in Idukki district for photographers and their art .
Fotofast's
success story is behind the people who leads it and knows the art
of colour photography very well. Very experienced
persons are controlling its photo printing sections. Mr.Sebastain
Joseph who is an expert in printing technology is lab- in charge.
Mr.Tom Thomas MBA is managing the office and doing the
administration. Mr. Jose Tom LLB is managing the legal affairs and
account sections. Mr.A.J.Joseph who is proficient in
colour lab Technology from 1970 onwards is the manager, with the
combined efforts and co-operation of four persons Fotofast has
become a great success.
Fotofast is the
first colour lab in Kerala to have a print capacity of three
thousand copies in an hour. Foto Trade a new concern which
deals in photographic materials and film at very concessional
rates is an associate concern. A big collection of
cameras of different leading companies and albums of high quality
is available in this showroom for sale.There is unlimited scope in
Idukki district for photographers. In social and cultural
activites at Thodupuzha Fotofast has made its
